Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories include going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mother do her job. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode and broke the news to the fans in an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she is ready to resume work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production of the fourth season. Her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a popular show on social networks.
