Taylor began her YouTube career by recording ASMR videos with the help of her cell phone. PewDiePie was her star in a gaming video just after she had 50,000 subscribers. This was 1 1/2 months following the first upload of her YouTube video. After two months, she had reached 100,000 subscribers, Taylor quit producing content on her Youtube channel and placed all her content private. The reason for this was issues with the new equipment and being overwhelmed by the amount of traffic she received. The channel began to produce videos following an absence of one month. This included the extremely famous ASMR Ten Triggers to help You Sleep. (35,000,000 views by August 2022). ASMR 20 Triggers to Help You Sleep, a series of videos aimed at Sleeping was released in July of 2017 and was watched by 38 million people. She appeared in August 2017 interviewed in an interview with Shane Dawson videoand shortly after she hit 1 million viewers on YouTube. Wired UK calculated that she made $1,000 every day on her YouTube Channel in February 2019.

Helfer was born in rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada, to Dennis Elaine and Dennis Elaine Helfer. She is of German and English descent. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School situated in Stettler. The three sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena also worked with her on the grain farm. While standing in a line at a theatre the scout of a modelling agency was able to spot Helfer.
